Chinese New Year – Jan 26. 2009 is the year of the Ox. The Chinese new years is on of the most important tradition chinese holidays.The color red symbolizes fire which is used to drive away evil. The new year is celebrated for 15 days. There are 12 animals, and they rotate following a 12 year cycle.
On Jan 26th the new year begins and 2009 is the year of the Ox. People who are Ox include painters, engineers and architects. They’re stable, fearless, hardworking, friendly, and have good work ethics.
Since the Ox is dependable and logical, people usually come to them for suggestions or advice. However, the Ox isn’t perfect. They can also be narrow minded and stubborn.
