General: Have you heard of Japanese and Wine Bar infusion? We have! Seiyo Boston is a small quiet Japanese and wine bar. This innovation is absolute and is a must try if you find yourself enjoying both a great maki list and an extensive drink list. Located in the South End at 1721 Washington Street. www.seiyoboston.com

She Said: I’ve listed this place before here on BostonMunch, but he and she were never found ourselves to come. Craving miso soup and he choose the South End, Seiyo came to mind, and I’m glad it did. Seiyo is very small and quiet which I enjoyed. I was able to hear and talk at a normal level and not be seated right against someone else. We had miso soup and edamame to start. The edamame was a little to salty for my personal taste, but I love edamame so I kept eating those soy beans! I suggested the Spicy Seafood Maki, which I think is the one he enjoyed, but I didn’t as much. I know I enjoyed some salmon sashimi maki thingy, but maybe he remembers the name. I love the wood in this place. It makes it feel really warm and cosy. I also completely love the innovation of a sushi and wine bar. The drink menu (imported beers and wine list) is fantastic. Seiyo is better if you are eating alone or in twos. There is one large table for a group, but that is about it. Again, food is good, drink list is great and the staff is really helpful and friendly.

He Said: Hello There, It has been a bit since she and he have been bouncing from hood to hood trying to find new flavors from all the places around Boston, This story stars again she and I deciding and being undesisive on where to go, this time she was set on sushi or around there… story short we pulled off after the complicated decision derived from fade of  flipping  a coin and thats how we end up here. And no regrets here I am totally digging this place, the cozy cute small setting, the good selection of wines you can see from entrance, the boutique feeling in the middle of new england made me feel just right. no more around the bush and to the food, miso soup as always for she and he and the edamame, I wanted spicy so I asked our waitress for advise, we took one advice she picked one and I the other. no matter to me they were all really good, oh and before I forget if you have spicy just listen to me and match it with this Koshuhikari beer. I love the place the beer, the wine, the sushi and the menu, I am sure I’ll be back for more so stayed tuned and if any one try’s any of the sake exceptional list please comment and post…..
