General: Bouchee considers themselves an “urban brasserie.” What does that mean? I’m still trying to find out myself, but Bouchee has a lot of great aspects from food, location, service and atmosphere, it’s definitely a place to good and keep on your list of great restaurants. Located at 159 Newbury Street, Boston, MA (617) 450-4343 . www.boucheebrasserie.com

She Said: WOW! We came here for Sunday Brunch, and I really enjoyed myself. The menu has a lot of offerings from oysters and raw bar to flatbreads, salads and entrees. We decided to order the 1/2 dozen oysters to start and share. I love oysters, and these ones were big! Came from the island off Mass. or something. I had the roasted beet salad. Probably my favorite type of salad. Do they have yellow beets? This salad was just beets and a circle of cheese. I didn’t fancy the cheese. Not sure what type it was. The flatbread was also very delicious. My favorite part, besides the salad, was the outdoor seating. It’s down some stairs, so you have to look up to see the people, but still good for people watching. GO TRY BOUCHEE. My new favorite brunch spot!

He Said: Great location right in the middle of the busy newbury st. A well designed menu and good old parisian look, this restaurant takes me back to the days i lived in the city of light. As always, she and I went for the oysters and then we order our respective appetizers and entrees. I had the steak tartare and we shared a pizza, everything was delish! We accompanied all our food with some spicy bloody mary’s and we just hang out at the patio on this early spring Sunday for Boston. We enjoy reading outside, watching people and just hanging out outside after this long cold winter.
