Douzo
General: One of the better quality sushi places around beantown. Considered a restaurant and “lounge.” Not sure what that means, but Douzo has a nice bar. Elegant and modern decor, Douzo is definatley a good place to get your sushi fix. Located 131 Dartmouth St. (between Chandler St & Columbus Ave) Boston, MA 02116. In the Back Bay. She Said: I’ve been here for dinner, lunch and take out, and I’ve always enjoy what I’ve ordered at Douzo. The last time I came was for lunch before heading to the train. That’s a good thing about Douzo – since it’s located next to the Back Bay train station, it makes it very convenient to grab a bite or some take out before boarding. Lunch at Douzo is great because not too many people are there, making it nice a quiet. As well, the deals are amazing. The sushi special is like $10 and the sushi/sashimi is $15 or something. I had the sashimi special which consisted of 2 fatty tuna, octopus, salmon and something else. I had a bite of His miso soup which decent. I’d definitely come for lunch again. Dinner most likely with a group and yes for take out.
He Said: This restaurant next to the back bay station and just outside of the copley mall, is tasty and a good pick if you are in the area. They have good selection of beers as well as the drink menu seems pretty good as they do have a full bar inside if you are in a mood for a cocktail. The lunch boxes are made with the right amount if you enjoy your food you might wanna pair it with an appetazier or a soup, I also had the miso soup and I liked it a lot. Douzo is not to cheap but not super expensive. A good choice for she and he for that afternoon.
