She Said: A day of not feeling so well, opted into a chance to do take-out and a movie. Thai food was sounding good. Warm soups and noodles had a calling. I choose tom yum koong, as it is my childhood favorite. We also ordered the Poh Paih which resembled sushi, but was a wap of jicama and vegetables. There are tons of fun dishes to try. Next time, I’d do a tofu and veggie noodle dish and some random sounding appetizer.
He Said: I had the chicken mango curry and it was really good! It comes with green and red peppers, making it healthier! Good portions of sliced mango and a side of white rice. Poh Paih appetizer was my idea because of the jicama, but I have to admit it wasn’t very flavorful at all. Island Hopper is a good place for take out if you live in Back Bay or the surrounding areas. Maybe She and He will try the actual restaurant next time.
