General: Simple restaurant, with a lot of choices. Friendly Staff, easy atmosphere, easy location and good food for a cheap price. Located between NEU and Berklee at 177A Massachusetts Ave, Boston 02115. Take out or delivery – 617) 262-5377

She Said: Like above, the restaurant itself is present in a simple manor containing an easy atmosphere. The staff is pretty helpful, very friendly and always there to fill up your water glass. When not looking for any swanky or fancy, Pho Basil was a good choice, due to its good location. I knew it had a selection of vegetarian options when I strolled in here for Bubble Tea on my way to get my nails done. She and He opted for the fish cake appetizer. I felt like it was a good choice (with help from waitress). Home-made style (just as good as my mother’s! better? don’t know haven’t been home). The sauce to put on was refreshing. Okay, so I had the tofu and veggie mix with a little bit of brown rice and peanut sauce. Simple, yummy, filling and low-cal. I also had the green tea bubble tea. I did enjoy it but my downturn for this is that the bubble teas here are made with powder. I want some real fresh fruit bubble teas. or Ice tea with tapioca. I’ll do that next time.

He Said: After a long walk and smelling all the food that restaurants were cooking in route to her house, I got really hungry. I was in the mood for something like noodles and just something East Asian flavored. She suggested this place and I am happy we went for it. It’s totally low key but nice. The menu is big but well organized so it’s easy to find stuff, I was pretty set on get a noodle soup until i saw the had chicken mango curry. I love anything with mango on it, so I went for that. Before hand I had a seaweed soup, it was actually pretty good, was like chicken noodle soup but with sea weed on it. I had a nice evening going here, it was chill, not expensive and good. I recommend if you are hungry after going to a show at the BPC or in the area. Oh the mango bubble teas was very good too!
