Apollo
General Korean/Japanese restaurant open for late night dining. Cocktails and food until late. Accessible by 3 different T’s. Good for late night. Cannot stress that. Located in Chinatown: 84 Harrison Ave (between Beach St & Knapp St) Boston, MA 02111 (617) 423-3888
She Said: Waiting to go home more than anything, there was the idea of going to South Street Diner. I perked up for that. Fun place. However when we got there, it was like 3am and we were going to have to wait in line. So instead the three of us headed to Apollo, just a few blocks down. Since I was only out because of the Diner, I wasn’t too thrilled to go to Apollo – but nonetheless, its a restaurant/bar open until the wee hours. i had some spicy seafood noodle soup. I wasn’t impressed. Only thing that is cool about this place is late night dining.
He Said: When you have a few drinks in you and is late night and starving, Boston doesn’t offer many options. Apollo is one of the late night dinners. I like it because the food is not bad and the ambiance is like if you were in a ganster movie from the 40′s, the crowd is always mix; from your typical chinese dudes to industry people and the random lost tourist. When you’re there try the gyoza. i love this dish. And if you are in the mood for a late night drink order the magic tea.

Have your say!
