November’s New Workout Plan

It’s about that time where a routine change is needed. Check out what you can do in November to stay in shape!

Lately I have been obsessed with the Biggest Loser. What an empowering show. So while watching I decided I needed a new plan. Feel free to follow this or modify.

First, if you watch the biggest loser… don’t eat during it! And during commercials, do jumping jacks, jump rope and push ups. Commercials are long!

But now for real time. I alternate days. Intense and not as intense

Day One: Don’t get stuck on one machine. Instead, Jog or interval for 15-20 minutes. Then hop on a bike for 15. Next hit the rowing machine for 10 minutes. Repeat, but drop each cardio segment by 5 minutes if you like. Then if you can manage, lift weights for 45 minutes.

Day Two: If you can’t lift on day one, Lift on Day Two. Also walk for 1 hour, or break it up 30 minutes elliptical and 30 minutes walk.

In theory, a person can do cardio every day. And as long as you change up your cardio routine, you’ll be fine. However, do not do weight lifting 2 days in a row. It’s better to alternate lifting days.
Also, try to attend a group fitness class 3x a week such as cycling, yoga, or step. Doesn’t matter, but having that support and seeing others will keep you motivated.

good luck this month!
